Muelle

Tue Oktober 29 // 20:45

Jesper Vervoort, also known as Jespfur, is a multidisciplinary artist born in Helmond, the Netherlands, and currently based in Amsterdam. With three mixtapes, various singles, and a collection of audiovisual works, Jespfur has steadily refined his DIY approach, resulting in an honest, unpredictable, and elusive musical catalog.

As a multi-instrumentalist, Jespfur plays and records all the instruments and vocals himself, crafting a sometimes dreamy sonic collage that blends art-pop, jazz, and rap. His compositions have been featured on BBC1 and NTS and have been performed live on numerous stages across Europe and the UK. Recently, he released Pedestrians of Bright Silence through 10k, the label founded by MIKE.

Subterranean Street Society (Alt Rock)

Stage Live

Wed October 30 // 20:30

You may recognize their sound from the Netflix original 'Ragnarok', under which the single 'Only Your Sins' was placed, or you might have seen them live, chances are high. Subterranean Street Society doesn’t beat around the bush, the Danish-Dutch alternative rock band brings raw rock with a poetic edge and has seen most of the world through their music. The trio incorporates different genres into their songs and sound, with clear influences taken from indie, folk, grunge and rock. In 2023 they leave their melancholic sound behind and storm on with strong protest songs that you simply cannot ignore. On 'God Couldn't Save The Queen', singer Louis wonders why we still put royal families on pedestal, and single 'Focus On The Melody' is a raging garage rock track about the dying attention span of modern society. It set the tone for the album ‘BLEEP’, which was released the 8th of March 2024. Ever since then the band has been performing various shows throughout the Netherlands including Paradiso and Zwarte Cross and touring abroad in the UK and even Indonesia.

Enjoy BIME 2024!

best,

Team Dutch Music Export
