Trade Mission Madrid & Primavera Pro 2025

Following successful editions in 2022, 2023, and 2024, Dutch Music Export is once again organising a trade mission to Spain in June 2025. With 700 festivals held annually and the sale of 28 million concert tickets, the country offers extraordinary growth opportunities for the music industry.

The mission is being organised in collaboration with leading partners from the Spanish music industry, the Dutch Embassy in Madrid, The Spanish Wave, and Primavera Pro Barcelona.

MARKET MISSION MADRID

From Monday 2 to Wednesday 4 June, an extensive networking programme will take place at The Music Station and 5020 Studios, in the heart of Madrid. Dutch music professionals will have the opportunity to take part in daily networking sessions with Spanish peers, and to make group visits to leading Spanish music companies, including music startups based at Google Campus.

A key highlight of the Market Mission is the Dutch showcase on the evening of Tuesday 3 June in Madrid. This event will feature two Dutch artists and one Spanish act.

PRIMAVERA PRO CONFERENCE & PRIMAVERA SOUND FESTIVAL BARCELONA

After the activities in Madrid, from the afternoon of Wednesday 4 June, there will be an opportunity to travel on to Barcelona for the annual Primavera Pro Conference (4 – 6 June) and the Primavera Sound Festival (4 – 8 June).

Held in the heart of Barcelona, the Primavera Pro Conference is one of the most important meeting points in Europe for the Spanish and Latin American music industries, attracting hundreds of international music professionals each year.

The conference runs alongside the Primavera Sound Festival, one of Europe’s leading open-air music festivals.

APPLY DUTCH ARTISTS

There is room for a maximum of two Dutch artists to perform at both the Madrid showcase and the Primavera Pro Barcelona showcase. These selected artists will have the opportunity to perform at both events.

The line-up will be curated in collaboration with The Spanish Wave, the Primavera Pro organisers, and various Spanish industry partners.

Selected artists may be eligible for a contribution towards travel and accommodation costs.

APPLY PROFESSIONALS

Dutch Music Export is offering space for a maximum of 8 Dutch music professionals to take part in the Market Mission Madrid, Primavera Pro, and the Primavera Sound Festival.

Participation includes:

Access to the trade mission in Madrid.
Access to the Primavera Pro Conference and the Primavera Sound Festival.
A €350 contribution towards travel and accommodation costs per participant.

The mission in Madrid is organised by Dutch Music Export, in collaboration with Lucas Holten, The Spanish Wave, and with support from the Dutch Embassy in Madrid.
