Creative mission to são paulo
For the first time, Dutch Music Export is heading to Latin America with a Creative Mission to São Paulo, Brazil, in collaboration with Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE).
Taking place in late November 2026, the mission will connect Dutch creatives and music professionals with one of the world’s fastest-growing and most dynamic music markets. The programme will focus on co-creation, market access and long-term collaboration between the Dutch and Brazilian music sectors.
The mission builds on ADE’s Brazil focus in October 2026, creating a trajectory from first introductions and matchmaking in Amsterdam to deeper creative and professional connections in São Paulo.

In collaboration with Soepermarkt Publishing, the Dutch Embassy in Japan, and various Japanese partners, Dutch Music Export is organising an exclusive writing camp in Tokyo. This four-day programme is specifically designed for Dutch producers and songwriters with clear ambitions for the Japanese market.
Connecting Sounds North Africa
North Africa is rapidly becoming one of the world's fastest-growing music markets, with a creative scene that is increasingly influencing global sounds. BumaStemra and Dutch Music Export are collaborating to strengthen the ties between the Dutch and North African music industries.
On Wednesday, 24 September 2026, we will gather a select group of BumaStemra members, publishers, music professionals, songwriters, and producers for Connecting Sounds: North Africa. This event will be a full day dedicated to knowledge exchange, panel discussions, and networking at Cruise Control Studios, Amsterdam. In early 2027, a creative music mission will be organized as a follow-up.
